Trekking in Nepal

the term "trekking" has come from an old English word meaning journey on foot. The adventure loving tourist prefer to go for trekking in the remote parts of the country. Trekking in Nepal is understood as long walks. This could be on the mountain trails. This could be a trip from a few days to weeks, carrying food and equipment ensuring the fulfilment of the need of sleeping and eating either in your makeshift tents or in the Lodges, in the more developed regions such as Everest, Annapurna and Langtang.

It is the only way to know Nepal and the Himalayas deeply and enjoy their unimaginable beauty. By practicing this activity, it is possible to get excess into the most remote places or the wildest often most beautiful parts of the country without using any in mechanical transport or certain parts of the country such transports are not available. It also brings a sense of freedom and independence, never achieves in tourism and is never linked to the use of convenience of any kind.

It is above all a return to the contact with nature. The trekkers leave aside for certain time the rest of the busy and crowded world

Trekking in Nepal guarantees neither comfort nor the facilities of modern life. Instead the trekker explores an opportunity to enhance his knowledge and learns about the indigenous communities, their villages, the life style etc. that have remained unchanged for generations. One can meet the poor people, but hospitable, industrious yet cheerful people. One will wonder perhaps by reading the faces of these men, women and children living in the harsh conditions of high altitude serenity and their joy of living that is much more vivid on the faces of these people which is impossible to be found.

It is not necessary to be a mountaineer to walk on the trails of Nepal. The trails are spread only up to the level of meadows and green hills around 4000 to 5000 meters above the sea level.
